# Metrics

Learn how to monitor your server.

Open a server’s **Metrics** tab to monitor resource usage.

## Core Metrics

### CPU Usage

CPU usage shows how much processing capacity your services use. Sustained usage near 100% can slow requests or cause timeouts; consider scaling up if your server cannot keep up with demand.

### Memory Usage

Memory used by your services. Running out of memory can cause services to fail.

### Disk Usage

Disk space used by images, containers and their data. A full disk prevents deployments and new writes.

## Per Service Metrics

Charts show total system usage by default. Use the service filter to inspect individual services. System totals also include Docker and other server processes.

## Timeframe

Choose the last 10 minutes, 1 hour, 12 hours, 24 hours or 3 days.
