GitHub integration
Learn how to integrate your GitHub account with your Sliplane account.
To deploy from GitHub, open the account menu in Sliplane and select Repository Access. Choose which repositories Sliplane can access on GitHub.
The repositories appear in the deploy form. If one is missing, click Refresh List after saving your GitHub settings.
What is the Sliplane GitHub App doing?
Sliplane uses GitHub to sign you in, build your code, and trigger deployments when you push to the selected branch.
What permissions does the Sliplane GitHub App need?
Read access to code and metadata
Allows Sliplane to clone selected repositories for builds and read metadata such as the default branch.
Read and write access to repository hooks
Allows Sliplane to create push-event webhooks for repositories you deploy. The webhooks are deleted when you delete the service.
Read access to organization membership
Allows Sliplane to check that you have the repository admin access required to create webhooks.
