Confidential Region

The Confidential region is reserved exclusively for applications and databases that process data subject to professional secrecy under § 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB), such as patient or client information handled by doctors or lawyers.

You must not host applications or databases in this region unless they contain or process data subject to § 203 StGB. Use another region for all other workloads.

We provide a confidentiality agreement that covers only servers and databases hosted in this region. It does not cover:

  • Service logs written to stdout or stderr.
  • Data stored in your code repository.
  • Data included in your Docker image.

Do not write data subject to § 203 StGB to these logs or include it in your repository or Docker image.

Access requires approval for your team:

  1. Click Confidential in the region selector when creating a server or database.
  2. Select Request access by email and describe what you need the region for.
  3. Once access is enabled, select Confidential to create your resources there.

You can also email support@sliplane.io directly with your use case and team name.
